Earlier—in 1993—I began selling for Intelligent Marketing Systems (IQ) as an Account Executive. I developed and sold a full range of database-driven marketing programs including: Lead Generation, Customer Retention, Customer Loyalty, Sales Force Incentive, and Membership Fulfillment. My clients included Mack Trucks, Old Country Buffet, Liberty Mutual Insurance, First Bank, Network Systems and others.

From 1990—1993, I worked at NordicTrack Inc. in sales and product management.  As a founding member of its ExerScience new product division, I was responsible for bringing innovative fitness products to market including: The Twist-N-Ski, The WWF Muscle Machine, Exerlopers, Power Poles, and others. Marketing included infomercials (spots and QVC programming), direct mail, catalogs, telemarketing, and retail distribution through ExerScience and Target stores.
